Day 108: North to South

We left Wellington to catch the ferry to the South Island. The ferry took 4 hours and we arrived in Picton at 1pm. We had to wait a while for our new bus given that the original had broken down. Luckily the sun was out, so Marissa and I sunbathed! When the bus arrived we drove onto Nelson, where we stopped at a supermarket, and then we got to Kaitera Abel Tasman around 7pm. This hostel was really cool, right by the beach! I shared a room with Shannon, Will, James, Ellie, Marissa, Gemma and Hannah. We all cooked dinner in the hostel kitchen and then headed to bed. I facetimed Sam before I went to sleep. I was counting down the days until I see him again.
