Day 79: Torquay Beach ;)

Torquay, 10.29.2019

We checked out of Port Campbell late morning and made our way back along the GOR to head back to Melbourne. The weather was even hotter today than it had been yesterday so we decided to stop in the coastal town of Torquay on the way home. First we had lunch in a cute pub on the esplanade where I had a hummus board and Sam had a burger. We both also had a beer which was so refreshing in the heat. We spent to the rest of the afternoon sunbathing and chatting on the beach. I will never forget how excited Sam was to go swimming however he didn’t quite consider how cold the water would be. I laughed until I cried watching him squirm in the cold water until eventually he gave up and had to get out of the sea to warm back up. Got a bit frisky on the beach, an afternoon I’ll never forget! Drove home around 6 and got a McDonalds takeaway in Berwick for an easy dinner! Caught up with Yas on the phone which was nice, I miss her!
