#TheGreatOceanRoadAndTheLittleTinHouse

Port Apollo, 14.09.2017

We arrived at our Airbnb at 5pm and quickly headed inside to get out of the rain. Right on a farm, sat a little tin barn, painted blue with a porch and an ocean view (if you looked really carefully on a clear day). We didn't actually know we had an ocean view until our last day due to the fog and rain covering the landscape.

Outside the windows, we could see tiny ears poking up above the grass! Roos! Lots of them, I headed out with my dad to get a closer look. We walked along the fence of the farm before spotting some more roos coming out of the woods. They hopped hastily away as we got closer and ruined their chance to be papped.

Luckily the little barn had heating which we put on full blast whilst enjoying some cheese and bread (not purchased at the wine farm-they didn't have any!), we also watched Red Dog, an Australian film about a dog who is dying and everyone is sad because they had all shared various adventures with him. Lucky Berry got to watch it twice because both my dad and I fell asleep by 8:30pm!

At night, the wind was in full force battering the sides of the tin walls. The wind howled and the whole house shook violently! That along with the sheep crawling under the floor made for a very interesting nights sleep or lack of!

Despite the fear of being blown away, I will miss the little tin house on the farm.
