First Stop Agaete

Agaete, 08/01/2017

We went back a second time during a tour with Bruno, this time we went up into the hills and spent a few hours at a beautiful family owned plantation. They are known for their coffee (only place in Europe where it is grown), wine and fruit. We sat outdoors and sampled their coffee, cheese and chorizo. Spanish chorizo is nothing like what we know in the US. It is a mild pate’ that they spread on small slices of fresh baguettes, it was wonderful, along with some of their coffee.

The plantation was such a beautiful and peaceful place.
